More Than a Straightforward Re-release: The Thorough Overhaul

This project represents a from-scratch re-envisioning of the iconic 2000 role-playing game, first titled Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. Taking a distinct step away from recent Dragon Quest re-releases, such as the previously released HD-2D iterations, this reimagining utilizes a unique 3D visual presentation. Environments have been crafted to look like intricate dioramas, with party members featuring a appealing stylized design.

Major Gameplay Improvements and Updates

Square Enix has implemented several changes to update the classic gameplay loop. These include:
