The Initial Game Pass Titles of 2026 Show Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.

Everywhere you go, commentators persist in tolling the death bells for the Xbox brand. Microsoft's console just got outsold by a platform few have heard of. Xbox fan sites have started writing about PlayStation for the first time. 2025 was an era of significant turmoil for the Xbox ecosystem. Yet, based exclusively on the titles headed to the service in 2026, it becomes clear that the green gaming company continues to plan to draw people in with compelling titles on its key platform.

The Available Now Titles

A pair of titles currently accessible as you read this, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. The true anticipation is for the upcoming titles to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's deserving of attention.

Major Titles on the Horizon

On Jan. 13, the subscription service will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, an open-world game that refreshes typical Ubisoft design with an intergalactic heist adventure. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village featuring the towering Lady Dimitrescu, which our 2021 review called "the perfect cocktail of terror and combat."

Noteworthy Smaller Games

Yet, the less-hyped additions set to join the catalog are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler offering thrilling gameplay, drops on Jan. 7th — and it merits a playthrough regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.

The game set in a ruined Britain from last year may draw you in in about 15 minutes flat.

Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by Rebellion Developments, is also a game to check out. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to look forward to.

A Robust Selection of Games

Ultimately, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they don't represent first-party juggernauts that are the sole reason for the service in the first place. But Microsoft's additions here are rock solid. It offers a healthy blend of older titles you may have skipped and new-ish games that failed to receive the spotlight they deserved the first time around — rendering them excellent choices to get a second chance on Game Pass.

You might need to brace yourself to bid farewell to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, though.
